Best of Busay has to Offer

August 27, 2021

In recent times, Busay has grown into a sought-after destination for both local and foreign tourists. With new establishments that not only offer great food and experiences, but also the best view of the skyline of Cebu, it is no wonder why a lot of people flock to this mountainous barangay of the city.

Although, more famous for being a go-to destination for bikers and riders to ride their bikes around, this barangay is also known for the newest—probably trendiest—destinations in Cebu.

So, what can we find in Busay?

Cebu Transcentral Highway
First and foremost, the Cebu Transcentral Highway. Known for its stretch of road that is appealing for bikers and riders to travel to and fro, while also enjoying the serene mountains of Busay and the spectacular view of the city of Cebu. Not to mention how this road of approximately 33 kms is able to take you to places like Balamban, Toldeo, Asturias, and many others in just more or less 2 hours only. This highway is truly a gateway to many more destinations in Cebu.

Tops
Tops, Tops Lookout, Top of Cebu however it is known to you, Tops Lookout was, for so many years, the image of Busay. Whenever someone says Busay they immediately think of Tops, and vice versa. It offers those who visit a spectacular panoramic view of the city both in broad day light and at night. Moreover, Top of Cebu, a restaurant by Pages Group of Companies, offers a dining experience with the best view.

Temple of Leah
A symbol of undying love. Temple of Leah is Teodorico Soriano Adarna’s way of manifesting his love for his late wife of 53 years, Leah Albino-Adarna. It mirrors its story to that of Taj Mahal in India, giving it the moniker of “The Taj Mahal of Cebu”. The Temple of Leah has this ability to transport us to a different destination due to its grandiose display of Greek-inspired architecture. It’s like being in Greece while still being in Cebu.

Sirao Flower Garden
Taking the social media world by storm in 2015, the Sirao Flower Garden is probably one of the most well-known tourist destinations in Busay. Called the “Little Amsterdam” in the Queen City of the South, Sirao Flower Garden caught the attention of both local and foreign tourists because of how it looks a lot like the famous rows of tulips in Amsterdam. Since creating abuzz in 2015, the management of Sirao Flower Garden has found multiple ways to even make the place a worthwhile experience, or as the kids would say “instagrammable”.

Restaurants / Cafes
Busay, with its spectacular view of the city of Cebu, also has quite a number of restaurants/cafes that not only provide sumptuous meals, but also the experience and the view altogether. Here are a few notable restaurants in Busay that have been frequented by visitors: Top of Cebu, Balay sa Busay, Mr. A Bar and Restaurant, and La Vie in the Sky to name some. Cafes have also been flocked by willing tourists not minding how long the journey may take. There’s Charlie’s Cup, Crate Café, 21 Kilometers Coffee, Heirloom Coffee and Kitchenette, and Maharlicup to name a few.

Given how accessible all these are to our projects—Le Menda Residences and Le Menda Residences Nivel Hills—it just shows how prime our projects locations are. With just a few minutes drive, you will be able to experience the abundance of destinations Busay has to offer.
